Took some nice photos of Julia and her Amstaff cross pup Bubi (female dog). What a sweet dog, wonderful! i wnat one just like her! More pics of Bubi coming!
about the cropping - one of my more prominent photography teachers (who was catually a practising phootgrapher and artist) once told me I had a tendency to crop images strangely when I shot my images, but he always thought I seemed to do it consiously, cos I always managed to balance the images with unusual croppings. What do you think about this cropping, the way Julia's head has been cut? You like it, dislike it?

It seems to work for me. As Pearwood saiys, it puts the foucus on Bubi, and to me the interaction between her and her dog, rather than just one or the other. People are drawn to faces, so by cutting that particular place, it makes the focus go elsewhere.
